Planning ahead....

How do I get Really Early Bird tickets?
Good idea, Really Early Bird tickets are from £5 per person, please visit our ticketing site here>>>>>
Please note that Really Early Bird tickets are not refundable and numbers are limited. Please be aware that as the event draws closer our Really Early Bird tickets will be replaced by Nearly Early Bird tickets which will be sold for £5.50. So why not get your orders in now?

On the day.....

Will the event go ahead if it's raining?
Yes, we're a hardy bunch but for safety reasons there may be some changes on the day.

What facilities are there for disabled visitors?
There is a buggy and wheel chair friendly walk route.  A shuttle buggy between the car park and the Stable Yard is available on request. There are Riding for Disabled Association stewards on hand throughout the event to assist. Disabled WCs are available in the Stable Yard next to the ladies' toilets. 

Where can we eat?
In addition to the restaurant in the Stable Yard, there will be a food court in the park selling a variety of light bites, snacks and hot drinks. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic.

Do I have to have a dog ?
No! Its a lovely walk and fun day out even without a dog.

What else can I do when I visit?
As well as the walks and Fun Dog show there are canine capers: have-a-go flyball, agility, scurry racing and training demonstrations. The Stable Yard shops will be open as usual as well as Hatfield Park Farm and Bloody Hollow.

Entrance and walks...

Where is the entrance to the Park?
Through the Stable Yard Shops via the Ticket kiosk gates

What are the walk routes?
There are four mapped routes to suit all abilities varying in length.
For more details on which route will be most suitable for you please look here>>>>
For our disabled visitors a special map route will be provided on the day which clearly highlights a route suitable for wheelchairs. This might also be an option for families with buggies.


Can I use my resident's permit or House/Farm season Ticket?
No, this is a private fundraising event. Residents should use their usual entrance. Farm/House season tickets are not valid for this private event.

How much does it cost?
Children and dogs free. Earlybird tickets are from £5 per adult and tickets on the gate on the day are £6 per adult.

Can I pay by card?
We plan to have card payment facilities this year but suggest you bring some cash in case technology fails us.

Do dogs have to be on leads?
Dogs must be on leads in the Stable Yard and around the show arenas. They are welcome to stretch their legs off lead on the walk routes through the Park but must be under control at all times.

How many dogs can I bring?
For everyone's safety we restrict the number of dogs per person to four. We also advise you to have adequate Third Party Liability insurance for your dog, it is your responsibility to ensure that your dog is under control at all times.

Are there buggy/pushchair friendly walks?
Yes see the map walk routes - most of them have paths. If you're not sure please ask a steward at the gate.

Can I cycle in the Park?
No sorry, cycling is not allowed in the Park during this event for safety reasons.

When is the last walk?
The latest you will be able to walk is 3pm as the event ends at 4pm.  This is when then the gates back into the Stable Yard will be closed. 

Fun Dog Show....

How do I enter the Fun Dog Show?
Register at the Show Desk in the Park from 9:30 am, classes do get booked up quickly.

How much does it cost to enter a class?
It's £2.50 per class, your Show Registration fee is included in your entry donation.

What are the classes?

What time is the Fun Dog Show?
It starts at 12pm at the show arena in the Park. If you have entered your dog, please ensure you are at the arena in advance of the start time of your category.

Who can show our dog?
For safety, only one handler per dog in the arena, unless there is a young handler or a handler with special needs when one adult may accompany. Please ask our stewards if you have special requests.

At what age can I show my puppy?
We all love a puppy but please, puppies entering the show must be over 12 weeks old and be fully vaccinated.

Why the photographer?
We know many of you love to take home a picture of your pooch especially if it's a prize winner, you can buy your pet portrait on the day. We also like to use photos to promote our lovely fundraising event online and in print. If you don't want to be photographed please advise the photographer directly.
